DIY - Battery Cleaning and Replacing Littelfuse Blister Pack - PAL Fuse 2000 Infiniti I30

This is a DIY for a 2000 Infiniti I30 or Cefiro Nissan Maxima with a 3.0

There are two bolts that hold this fuse on each side DO NOT ATTEMPT to remove the fuse with out completely removing the bolts , The newer fuse is more modern and has a opening where you can slide and do not have to remove the bolts for future changes of this fuse

This DIY is how I had to replace my littelfuse or known as a PAL fuse , I had corrosion over my positive cable and my fuse was broken around the plastic , This fuse is important maintenance because if this fuse blows your vehicle will not start ,

After spraying battery cleaner to remove the acid build up and to neutralize the acid then I wiped down the area then added my new positive post and fuse and then sprayed battery protection on the post .

This is a very simple DIY just follow the pictures

DIY Remove and Replace Starter Infiniti I30

This is a DIY on how to replace a starter for a 2000 Infiniti I30 which is the same as a Nissan Maxima or Nissan Cefiro

First you should remove the battery post so that you have no power going to the car

Then you need to remove the air box intake

You will see the starter , Then you remove the power cable connecting to the starter , Move the lines out of the way . You can loosen the bolt toward you very easily .

As you can see trying to loosen that second bolt from the top was very tight . So what what I did below was remove the driver side tire

With a extension it was easier to get to that bolt and loosen it . Once you have it loosen you can either continue to remove the bolt or you can go back to the top , but just to let you know the bottom for me I was able to turn the ratchet better .

I matched up the starter

Once you have it off then you can put it back on the same way you took it off .
