DIY Replacing Oil Pressure Switch 2002 Honda CR-V

This DIY is for a 2002 Honda CR-V with a 2.4 motor 

This part is located above the oil filter and below the Vtec solenoid - These usually leak and people usually think it might be the valve cover  

Passenger side fender well has a opening for easy access - Once you put the new one on clean the area with brake cleaner so you if you have any other leaks they can be easily be found

DIY Replacing PCV Valve 2002 Honda Truck CR-V

This is a DIY on a 2000 Honda CR-V with a 2.4 motor 

This is real simple but a tight location for this pcv valve - You will see above the alternator and under the power steering pump it's really hard to see but you will see the hose that has a clamp - 

All you have to do is unbolt the part and put the new one - If the old one doesn't rattle that means it was clogged - Testing the new one make sure it rattles - If the old one rattles that means it was ok but still if you have 100,000 miles on the car or more and never changed it then why not

DIY - 2002 Infiniti I30 Left & Right Engine Splash Shields

This is a simple DIY I only had to do the driver side but I bought both sides - This is for a 2000 Infiniti I30 and this is very important to have cause your A/C unit and other parts will not get wet as you hit puddles and the water would splash on the parts then in the future rusting them sooner and soaking the belts making them squeal in the rain .

Yes they can be a pain in the ass to take on a off for oil change but if you can see you can slightly pull away from the oil filter and then remove it . 

There are other splash guards underneath this vehicle make sure you order the correct one this one is for the sides behind the wheel covering axle sides .

Basically it is a bunch of clips that hold the parts - You can use clips or bolts which ever fits you .

DIY Replacing Power Steering Pump 2000 Infiniti I30

This is a DIY on how to replace a power steering pump on a 2000 Infiniti I30 

This photo above will show you how to loosen the serpentine belt for the power steering because there are two belt tensioner one is on the power steering pump the other is for the A/C and alternator - There is a top bolt that you have to loosen first that is holding the power steering pump - Then underneath it will be the adjuster 

The first thing to do is to remove the power steering hose pressure and non pressure hose 

This bolt can be a pain in the butt to break loose but its up towards the top the diagram will help you locate it - But this must be loosen before you can take the belt off 

Then to take off the pulley 

For the new pump to fit you have to push back that slider pin 

Power steering pump Auto Zone part number AAE5233

This is the power steering belt 

This is the adjuster bolt for the power steering pump

Adjusting the tension on the belt 

Put everything back the way you took it off - This is a difficult job and you must have patients cause it is tight in that area - Bolts can be on tight and you have to make sure before you can adjust it you have to have the top of the pump bolt loose and the adjuster sleeve loose you might need to bang on it to free the pump to swivel

DIY Replacement 2000 Infiniti I30 Dual Radiator Fan Motor Assembly

This is DIY for a 2000 Infiniti I30 Dual Radiator Fan Motor Assembly replacement .

If you notice that at a stop light your A/C gets hot but when you drive the A/C gets cool or your temperature rises slightly on a stop but lowers on the drive on a dual radiator fan that means the A/C condenser fan is NOT working - Both fans should come on when you have the A/C on no matter how cold your motor is that is a easy test .

Remove the clips that hold the intake and then all you have to do is remove the upper hose that is connecting to the radiator only - Then disconnect any electrical plugs - Remove the two bolts holding the assembly to the radiator 

Pull the assembly up and out - Make sure you put the heat shield from the old assembly to the new on to keep the motor from burning out from your exhaust pipe - Reconnect the plugs - Put your A/C on to make sure both fans go on 

This DIY did not take long

DIY Replacing Oil Pressure Switch 2000 Infiniti I30

This is a DIY on a 2000 Infiniti I30 replacing the oil pressure switch 

Real easy DIY this oil sending switch is located on the passenger side behind the oil filter back of motor near oil pan - These use a special socket which is easy to take off and put on - I used plumbing thread tape when I put the new one on
