DIY - 2002 Infiniti I30 Left & Right Engine Splash Shields

This is a simple DIY I only had to do the driver side but I bought both sides - This is for a 2000 Infiniti I30 and this is very important to have cause your A/C unit and other parts will not get wet as you hit puddles and the water would splash on the parts then in the future rusting them sooner and soaking the belts making them squeal in the rain .

Yes they can be a pain in the ass to take on a off for oil change but if you can see you can slightly pull away from the oil filter and then remove it .

There are other splash guards underneath this vehicle make sure you order the correct one this one is for the sides behind the wheel covering axle sides .

Basically it is a bunch of clips that hold the parts - You can use clips or bolts which ever fits you .

DIY Replacement 2000 Infiniti I30 Dual Radiator Fan Motor Assembly

This is DIY for a 2000 Infiniti I30 Dual Radiator Fan Motor Assembly replacement .

If you notice that at a stop light your A/C gets hot but when you drive the A/C gets cool or your temperature rises slightly on a stop but lowers on the drive on a dual radiator fan that means the A/C condenser fan is NOT working - Both fans should come on when you have the A/C on no matter how cold your motor is that is a easy test .

Remove the clips that hold the intake and then all you have to do is remove the upper hose that is connecting to the radiator only - Then disconnect any electrical plugs - Remove the two bolts holding the assembly to the radiator

Pull the assembly up and out - Make sure you put the heat shield from the old assembly to the new on to keep the motor from burning out from your exhaust pipe - Reconnect the plugs - Put your A/C on to make sure both fans go on

This DIY did not take long

DIY - Replace Cabin Air Filter 2000 Infiniti I30

This is a DIY on how to replace your cabin air filter on a Infiniti I30

A lot of people might not realize but the I30 does have a cabin air filter behind the glove compartment box - It is real easy to get to - Remove the 4 screws on top and the entire compartment box will drop - Note you cannot get to the filter by just pulling the door down because there is a wall - You must remove the entire piece .

You will see the door to the cabin air filter - You must remove the clip on the bottom of the door then slide door upward then towards you

You will see two filters side by side - Remove the top one first then the bottom one will slide - Remember filter has handles and they must face outward

Once you remove the filters make sure you look inside for any trash that can be blocking your drain whole - If you need a coat hanger to move the debris then do that - Then with the vacuum cleaner there is a attachment that has a long skinny end - Be careful when you slide it in the opening because you DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THE HEATER CORE OR BEND THE HEATER CORE FINS - Once you have that area cleaned then put the new filters in remembering the same procedure when putting it back together .

DIY Replacing A/C Condenser Fan Honda CRV 2000

This is a DIY on a 2000 Honda CRV - First you remove all the clips on top of the radiator so that the shield can be taking off to see the fan .

Once you remove the plastic shield you will take off the two nuts holding the fan that is to the LEFT of the radiator - The RIGHT side is for the temperature switch . Then you remove the reservoir for the antifreeze .

There is a bracket that holds the radiator down remove those on each side on the top , Then you remove the bracket that is holding the grill and the plastic bumper off to - This way you can lean the radiator forward and pull out the fan

On the bottom you remove the clips that hold the water shield to the vehicle - You need to remove the little drain hose from the bracket of the condenser fan and a plug that is clipped to the bracket .

Once everything is loosen then you pull the radiator forward carefully and remove the fan from the top .

Then once you remove the fan you follow the steps in reverse to put the new fan back - You might have to purchase new clips cause when they are old they break - There is about 25 or more clips better to purchase them from eBay where they are cheaper .
