DIY - 2009 Toyota Rav 4 Front Brakes and Rotors Replacement

This is a DIY for a 2009 Toyota Rav 4 WITH OUT the 3rd row seating .

There is a difference in pads and rotors if you have 3rd row seating vs non 3rd row seating

First you remove the front pad and the caliper bracket so that you can access the rotor

In this DIY I'm putting on slotted rotors so make sure before you install the new ones that they are facing the correct direction and they are the correct size

Carefully push back the caliper

Replace the hardware kit

Remember to remove the old wear sensor from your old pad to your new one or if the hardware kit come with this clip then install the new one

Once you have completed everything then you put it all back together the same way you took it off .
